TANJO FILMS is a production company founded in 2025 with the ambition of producing films with a unique formal and artistic vision—films that break the mold. Led by producer Christian Popp, this new entity aims to be a laboratory for cinematic and audiovisual experimentation. Tanjo means "birth" in Japanese, and this is our vision: to support new and bold storytelling and produce films that transcend borders, give meaning to the complexity of the world, and contribute to making it a more just place.
